I cannot say enough good things about this dessert -- it's called Banoffee Pie and is a very Scottish dessert (or pudding as the Scots would say!). This yummy pie is simply a caramel pie with sliced bananas on top -- what a combination! It was divine! I'm so glad my friend Trudy introduced me to this treat!

And for the record, I also ate chicken stuffed with haggis in Linlithgow. This would be my very first meal with haggis making up one of the main ingredients. I think I'm fully Scottish now.

i don't know what haggis is but that banana thing looks so yummy! You've always been better at eating weird things than me.
