Check out this absolutely charming town in Northeast England:
It's set on a river -- of course -- with a beautiful cathedral on the water's edge. N.T. Wright -- which some readers are probably familiar with -- is the bishop at Durham.
Above is the quad at Durham. On one side is the cathedral, another a castle, another a library, and the other a lecture hall. So idyllic.
