How To Be Smart, Pretty, and Less Awkward

Have you heard of this blog: Smart, Pretty, and Awkward?



I am not clever or witty enough to come up with daily advice in the areas of how to be smarter, prettier, and less awkward. But I do have one suggestion today: 

How to Be Prettier:  When shopping at stores like H&M or Primark (I wish I knew about Primark from experience .... although it's supposedly opening in Edinburgh in December) always go to a higher-end store first. Spin through French Connection for inspiration and then find the same look at H&M for less. 

And while I'm the subject of fashion and less-meaningful things: an Urban Outfitters is opening in Edinburgh on Princes Street. Now we'll have more American clothiers than Gap and Brooks Brothers.

And while I'm on the subject of Edinburgh news: The Christmas Tree has arrived! From Norwary! And is presently being erected on the Mound in front of New College. Now that is some B-I-G news. Winter wonderland is upon us!
