Where to Begin?

I don't even know where to begin about my recent visit to see family in the States. Important info:

- Overall, I had a good time.

- I always love, love, love seeing family.

- The visit was difficult as my dear grandmother's home was flooded in Nashville, and she's lost everything.

- Stressful situations either bring out the best in people or the worst. During this disaster, my family has dealt with some of the worst in others in trying to help my grandmother. That's been a very disappointing experience.

- My sister Hilary was grand, grand, grand in Sound of Music.

- I also learned that I still have the energy of a 7th grader. Word.

Before I post many pictures from the trip, here's one of interest:

That's a goat -- not a dog. This woman was walking her pet goat at the downtown farmer's market in Roanoke, VA. Go figure!

I think you will always have the energy of a 7th grader, Ash. You'll be 92 year old little lady mowing people down in the grocery store ;) Love it.

God bless Gram. I think about her all the time. Hoping things begin to improve quickly!!

I hope the process of getting everything inorder for your grandma becomes easier. That can't be easy. Thinking of you.
