What I'm Reading
I just finished The House of Special Purpose -- a novel about the end of the Romanovs' empire. But it's also a story about sacrificial love, emigration, and daily experiences under an autocratic ruler. I couldn't put it down! Boyne seems to enjoy writing a story about a specific period in history through the more easily forgotten players: the young son of a German Commander at Auschwitz or a servant at the Winter Palace in St. Petersburg. Both times, I've enjoyed the perspective of Boyne's stories. This book would make great summer reading. So if you're headed to the beach, throw this one in your beach bag!

Thanks for the recommendation. I will absolutely check it out. My current reading is 2 books.
One book is called "The Feasts of the Lord" by Kevin Howard and Marvin Rosental. It is an amazing book on all the feasts the Jews observed and how they impact us from salvation to heaven.
The second book is "A Matter of Character" by Robin Lee Hatcher. This is a fun easy reading about a woman's journey in a town called Bethlehem Springs. It is great for easy summer enjoyment.
Have fun reading and soaking it all in!
