Straight from the Heart of Linlithgow

I cannot say enough good things about this dessert -- it's called Banoffee Pie and is a very Scottish dessert (or pudding as the Scots would say!). This yummy pie is simply a caramel pie with sliced bananas on top -- what a combination! It was divine! I'm so glad my friend Trudy introduced me to this treat! This pulpit at St. Michael's has the current Queen engraved on it!

St. Michael's Parish Church dates back to 1252. Amazing!

And for the record, I also ate chicken stuffed with haggis in Linlithgow. This would be my very first meal with haggis making up one of the main ingredients. I think I'm fully Scottish now.

i don't know what haggis is but that banana thing looks so yummy! You've always been better at eating weird things than me.
