Paris: Petit Palais

Petit Palais is a museum right off the street from Champs-Elysees, close to Place de la Concorde.

The palace contained beautiful works of art. The above piece is of the French Revolution and is set at Republique.

And it had beautiful interiors!

One intriguing painting: The Good Samaritan

Mom resting outside the palace after a super long day of sightseeing! On this particular day, we visited the Eiffel Tower, Rue Cler, Invalides, Musee Rodin, Champs-Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, & Petit Palais. Whoah! And here's a Eurocheapo tip: if you want to make a budget stop on Champ-Elysees, Quick Burger has alfresco dining - completed by tables with umbrellas. And how can you beat a chocolate milk shake for one euro on a hot summer day?
