Get Your ChaCha On!

I love asking people questions, especially ones that really reveals something about who they are and what makes them their interesting, individual self. One of my favorite questions to ask people is if they could afford to hire someone to work for them, who or what would they hire. A personal trainer? Errand runner? House cleaner? Chef?* Butler? What would yours be?

If you've ever been interested in having a personal concierge, I have fabulous news for you. Fabulous. There's a new service available in America called ChaCha. If you ever have any question -- and I mean any -- you can text it to 242-242. Within three minutes you will receive a detailed reply.

When I was in Florida several weeks ago, we wanted to know the best restaurant for gumbo. So out came our personal concierge, ChaCha, and within minutes we had the recommendation and directions on our cell phone. ChaCha can assist you with movie times, directions, recommendations, football scores, what you should eat for breakfast -- you name it, it can be provided to you. All you have to do is text your question to 242-242.

* This would be my choice. At least at this point in life -- because I like good food and making good food is not always something I'm capable of doing. Plus, chefs usually plan the meals, buy the ingredients, and do the cooking.

Awww - if only they had this in Scotland - how useful would that be for Americans living over there - we would use it all the time - and be so much more savvy than normal :-)

Definitely an errand runner followed by a house cleaner. I guess I could have the person run errands (wouldn't it be great to not have to do that in Edinburgh) and then send him on errands like "Pick-up all the dust and trash in the flat" or is that cheating?
